I started my career in the Holiday and Residential lettings sector. Over the 6 years working in this industry I developed a real passion for all things property and it is this passion that led to me deciding to become a qualified Mortgage Adviser. Prior to setting up RH Financial Services with Hannah I worked for another network in York where I gained valuable experience and insight in the world of mortgages which fuelled my desire to start my own business. I enjoy having a direct relationship with clients and I get a huge sense of pride in helping clients secure the homes of their dreams.
Aside from work I have a huge passion for horses and compete in Dressage nationally with my horse Dream.

Business Principle
My working life started as an estate agent in Harrogate. After a couple of years experience in the property industry, a bit of travelling and snowboarding, I came home and got qualifications which would lead to my first mortgage advisor role in 2014. Working alongside York’s leading estate agent for nearly 10 years has been an extremely rewarding experience through which I gained a huge amount of knowledge that I take with me into RH Financial.
Supporting my clients to secure their new house, investment property or property project is hugely rewarding to me.
Just like Roxy I have huge passion for horses, I don’t compete nationally as I want to give Roxy a chance on the circuit….. lol
Lisa Aston CeMAP
I began my career working in the financial services industry just after leaving college. I started with Yorkshire Bank as a cashier before moving to Halifax as a banking adviser, it is here that I developed my interest in mortgages.
I then left the world of Banking and moved into property, taking a role at an estate agent to help further my knowledge of the house buying process. I did so alongside sitting my exams to become a qualified mortgage adviser.
I get a great deal of job satisfaction from helping clients with all their housing needs. So whether you’re buying your first home, looking to move or remortgage I can help. All whilst ensuring you have adequate cover in place to protect you home and family.
In my spare time I enjoy travelling, cooking, beach walks with my dog and playing golf
Kerry Shaw CEMAP
My career in financial services began over 20 years ago, not by design, but through an opportunity that arose at Halifax through a friend. Initially, I joined as a Customer Service Consultant, however I was soon invited to join their Mortgage Team and pursue my CeMAP qualification. This ignited my passion for mortgages, particularly how I can help to transform people’s lives.
After a decade of industry experience, I ventured into other opportunities within the financial services sector. However, the desire to help and guide individuals through the rocky road of mortgages was always there. I'm thrilled to be back, eager to share my extensive knowledge and expertise with new clients.
Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my family: my husband, three grown children, and our precious granddaughter. Travel, exploring new destinations and walking my crazy dog are also my passions.
